Start with the result you want
A mobile car-cleaning request should describe the work, not just ask for a wash. Do you want loose debris vacuumed from the interior, reachable surfaces cleaned, glass addressed, or an exterior wash? A basic refresh, a detailed interior project, and a treatment for a difficult stain are different scopes. Explain the condition and the areas that matter most.
NexWorks is adding an inquiry route for on-site car cleaning: we come to you, subject to scope, staffing, and location review. This is not a published fixed-price detailing package or a promise of immediate coverage. Send the vehicle type, approximate condition, requested work, location ZIP, and preferred dates so the team can evaluate the request. [1]
Confirm the location can support the work
Tell the provider whether the car is in a private driveway, shared garage, office lot, or another setting. Ask the property owner or manager about permission and site restrictions. Space to park is not automatically permission to conduct a cleaning service. Access, movement around the car, and any requested utility use need an explicit agreement.
For exterior work, the wastewater plan matters. Austin Water directs mobile-wash operators to confirm their disposal plan before operating and explains restrictions on wash-water discharge. A customer's location does not become an approved wash site merely because a cleaner can reach it. Review the actual method and location before the visit. [2]
Identify the vehicle and materials
Provide the make, model, year, and any relevant trim, coatings, wraps, or known material restrictions. Flag damaged surfaces, loose trim, aftermarket electronics, and anything that should not be touched. A general cleaning product or technique is not suitable for every vehicle surface.
Manufacturer instructions are a useful reference for that discussion. Tesla's Model Y cleaning guidance, for example, contains surface-specific instructions and cautions around products and electronics. That does not certify NexWorks for a particular method; it shows why the provider needs the correct vehicle information before choosing a process. The exact vehicle's guidance should govern the work. [3]
Set useful limits before the quote
Ask whether the proposed scope includes mats, cargo area, glass, wheels, door areas, or only selected interior surfaces. Discuss whether pet hair, heavy soil, odor, or stains need a separate review. Do not assume paint correction, ceramic coating, extraction, steam treatment, engine-bay work, or sanitizing claims are included in a routine clean.
Ask how long access to the car is needed and whether any drying or follow-up instruction affects when you can use it. Agree on how extra work would be approved. The provider should not need to infer permission for an expanded task from your absence during the visit.
Request confirmation rather than assuming a booking
NexWorks has not published mobile-car-cleaning prices, staffed ZIPs, equipment capabilities, or appointment capacity. Paid cleaning checkout is currently disabled. An inquiry begins a review and does not reserve a time or establish that exterior work can be performed at the proposed property. [1]
Before relying on the visit, obtain the accepted scope, price, timing, location arrangements, and any preparation instructions. Do not send car keys, access credentials, identity documents, or payment details in the initial public inquiry. Use the agreed private handoff once the service and location have been accepted.
